Slapton beach in the direction towards Start Point - By Dr.Grump

Yesterday at around two and three PM, me and mum went to Slapton on the bus from Dartmouth.
When me and mum hopped off the bus at Slapton Beach, I had a cold americano and mum had a hot drink of her own.
What I liked about going to Slapton is that it helped me to get off my ass.
Me and mum were walking along the beach and I could see boats on the horizon through my monocular, which makes me
feel like I am watching out into the waves in the magical olden times.
I also looked at Start Point Light house and the two tall thin radio masts of Start Point through my monocular, which makes me imagine how nice the world was before the modern internet and before the days governments could spy on your life😂
And then me and mum walk around Slapton Ley, and mum was taking photos on her phone. And when I walked under the trees, I could
see magical nature and dappled sunlight through the leaves, and mum and i saw lots of dragonflies and other flying insets.
When it was time for the bus home, me and mum looked at the bus times in the wooden bus shelter that is made from oak wood that is
over 100s years old but when mum and me went in the bus shelter, it smelted liked some dodgy person has gone for a wee in it as if it's
a toilet in public view.
On the day we went to Slapton Ley, there were signs along the foot paths warning people to stay out of the water in the ley because
there was a toxic algae bloom in the ley's water, which could make humans and dogs poorly if they drank it.
